Got Questions?

We’re passionate about seeing small businesses win. Unfortunately, there’s only so many of us and so many hours in a day. We can’t work directly with every business we meet.

But we don’t let that stop us. We figured we can at least provide valuable information to businesses looking to make some improvement on their own.

For starters, here are answers to questions we hear on a weekly basis. (Click the question to reveal the answer.)

Should I be on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter?

If you want to fish for a marlin, sticking your boat in the nearest lake won’t do you a bit of good. Go where your customers are. If they use social media to get advice, conduct purchasing research, or network, then you need to be right there with them.

Why should small businesses blog

There are dozens of reasons, here are three:

  1. It gives your potential clients or customers more info about you and your business.
  2. You can post content to help position you as the expert in your industry.
  3. It improves your ability to be found in search engines.

Will a new website help us?

If you’re seriously considering this question, the answer is likely to be yes. If your website is more than 5 years old, probably. Other than that, you need to determine if your website is “working”. Review your analytics, install mouse tracking software, or get a third part (someone who didn’t develop it) to assess the site.
