We’re Experienced
BurlapSky was founded by, David Mooring, a seasoned businessman with an MBA and over 16 years of business and leadership experience. Before starting BurlapSky, David served as Executive Vice President of CrossComm, Inc., a Durham-based website and mobile application development and consulting firm.
Our team has worked with hundreds of companies across a wide spectrum of industries and areas. We’ve built hundreds of websites. Sent thousands of emails. SEO’d, blogged, tweeted, Facebooked, and Yelped. We’ve taught dozens of classes, and we’ve coached dozens of business owners in how to use the web to grow their business.
We Strive For Excellence
We’re proud of the work that we do. We work hard to add value for our clients on a daily basis. We believe that excellence is a process; it takes time. This is fundamental in our approach to building long-term relationships. We’re a partner not a vendor.

We’re based in the south. We love southern culture. And we hope we exude a little southern charm. We’ll occasionally say “y’all” or “yes ma’am”, and we like doing business over barbecue, biscuits, and sweet tea.
